Creating art is about more than just the final piece — it’s about the emotion, the process, and the vision behind it. This is some of my work that is not for a client but was made with intention and love for the meaning and stories behind them.

Insecurities


“Insecurities” explores themes of vulnerability, self-perception, and identity. Each portrait features a person holding a Polaroid image in front of their face, with the Polaroid displaying an image and a word describing their insecurity. By concealing their faces with these Polaroids, the subjects both hide and reveal themselves: they obscure their physical identities while exposing something deeply personal and emotional. The use of monochrome tones and centered compositions emphasizes the universality of insecurity—suggesting that everyone carries hidden struggles, regardless of outward appearance. Diary Entries


“Diary Entries” is a portrait series that captures private thoughts made visible. Each softly blurred figure is overlaid with handwritten confessions, transforming personal emotions into something shared and universal. The motion blur obscures identity, shifting the focus from the individual to the vulnerability expressed in the text—fears, doubts, longing, and gratitude. Together, the images reveal how our inner dialogue quietly shapes who we are, even when it remains unspoken. Duality


“Duality” explores the layered nature of emotion and identity, examining how opposing feelings can coexist within a single moment. This project captures the complexity of human experience, highlighting our capacity to feel more than one emotion at once. Through expressive facial details and the intentional use of contrasting colors, the composition is divided into a split view that presents both emotional states simultaneously.
